Controller Position:

Quality Refrigeration, a commercial HVAC and Refrigeration service repair and installation company that has been around for 49 years, is seeking a skilled Controller to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for all accounting operations including general ledger and account analysis
• Responsible for payroll processing
• Sales tax preparation and filing
• Journal entries
• Month-end and year-end close
• W-2 preparation
• Invoice reconciliation for accounts payable
• Bank reconciliation
• Implement and manage financial controls
• Point person for insurance claims and related issues
• Coordinate any audits
• Coordinate benefits for employees

Requirements

• College degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 8 years accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, and best practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and excellent Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and pass a background check
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication skills, on the phone, via e-mail and text
